Chinoiserie

My love for blue and white comes from my maternal grandmother, who had a blue and white bowl hanging on the wall in her kitchen. Later in her life, she bought blue and white dishes that she gave me when I got my first apartment. I still have them, actually. I don't know if it was her British heritage or just her taste in decor, but she instilled a love of these items in me, too. 

I've also recently developed an affinity for Staffordshire Terrier statues because our little Luna Bird is the type of dog they're modeled after. I have always loved bamboo, and the rest of the designs just sort of grew out of an appreciation for their beauty. I'm really excited about this collection, and I hope you are, too.
